Drug Dogs
Drug Detection Searches
Throughout the years our drug dogs have led the way in success.
We were used by RCMP, Niagara Regional joint task force to help in over 40 search warrants.
Federal Penitentiary’s as well as Police Departments, and the private sector rely on our dogs performances. We have worked from Northern Manitoba, Northern Ontario and Quebec, and three dogs working in Northern Alberta. All of our searches are conducted in a professional manner and are strictly confidential.
Searches are very successful in showing employees that nothing can be hidden from the dog.
Transportation, Lake Carriers, Industries all realize the health and safety concerns as well as the legal issues, if they allow drugs and alcohol use on their property.
Our dogs have been used in Ontario for as many as 40 Secondary Schools, and have working for over 15 years, with an unbelievable amount of success.
Certification: Although we in house test our dogs, they must, according to our standards, be independently tested and certified with documentation, by a Police department as well as an independent civilian organization that is also overseen by Police Standards. No other privately owned detection dogs can attest to this.
Substance abuse, apart from being a criminal activity, can lead if unchecked, to reduced productivity; safety concerns, increased health and absentee problems, and can have a direct impact on Workers Compensation and liability situations.

What can be detected
Our dogs are trained to detect all “popular” illicit substance including marijuana, hashish, hash oil, cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, meth and ecstasy. Although it is impossible to train for all chemical substances (due to pharmaceutical companies constantly altering the formulas) it is not uncommon for many types of pills to also be detected. Any paraphernalia used such as pipes, pens, paper clips, bottles, roach clips, razor blades, droppers, needles etc. are also detected.
Unlike other canine units our dogs are also proficient at detecting residual odours and residue. Locating areas where substances are used or stored although actual substance has been removed, can be an invaluable tool in identifying problem areas or persons.
Any substance found can be subjected to a presumptive chemical test. It is the responsibility of the client to turn any substance found over to the appropriate authorities.
